Spot gold has recovered to $670 per ounce in quiet Asia trade Monday morning, up
from the US closing levels on Friday.
Spot gold was indicated at $671 at 0231 GMT Monday, according
to data posted on the World Gold Council web site. The bullion traded higher
from the US close of $668-669.20 per ounce on Friday.
Meanwhile, gold futures contracts trading on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange
rose in tandem with spot gold.
