Gas prices have continued their rise, climbing slightly in recent weeks.
The price of self-serve regular gas has gone up five cents to $2.61 a gallon on average over the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of 7,000 gas stations across the country.
On March 23, a gallon of mid-grade gasoline averaged about $2.71, and premium nearly $2.81.
Nationwide, the lowest price for regular fuel was $2.34 in St. Louis and and the highest was in San Francisco at $3.19 a gallon.
