Crude oil fell sharply on news that Canadian oil supplier Enbridge resumed shipments through a pipeline that had been shut because of a leak.
The pipeline segment that ruptured was replaced and deliveries started Wednesday afternoon, the company said.
Crude oil for May delivery declined $1.30 to $61.83 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
