Turkey plans to finance a $3.5bn investment in Iranian gas production entirely from a state company of its own, despite objections from the United States, which is urging countries to cut business ties with Iran, reported Reuters.
The Turkish Petroleum Corporation will start investing in Iran's South Pars gas field project as soon as a comprehensive agreement is signed in the second half of October.
