Ukraine To Pay Out Gas Dept to Russia

Ukraine’s Fuel and Energy Minister Yuri Boiko will meet Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller in Moscow on Monday to continue the talks on gas debt settlement. Kommersant reported.

The plans are to sign a protocol on redistributing gas in Ukrainian storage facilities in settlement for Ukrainian debt to Gazprom, Boiko said before leaving for Moscow.

The gas prices for Ukraine will be fair and market and determined with regard to today’s pricing, said Russia’s First Vice Premier Dmitry Medvedev, who is also the chairman at Gazprom BOD. The prices will be decided when the debt is paid to Russia.
