Kenya Oil Company Limited (Kenol) and Kobil Petroleum Limited on Wednesday warned consumers that they would raise their prices soon, due to several factors.
Kenol country manager, George Mwangi said this would push up the cost of goods and services that are directly affected by petroleum prices.
This is despite the recent strengthening of the shilling against the US dollar.
"It is in the best interests of Kenol/Kobil as the market leader, and a respected player in the regional market, to let motorists and other consumers know of these factors," said Mr Mwangi who is also the assistant Kenol/Kobil group managing director.
