Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the former head of the bankrupt oil giant Yukos, may become the most famous Russian prisoners for many years ahead - he is likely to receive a 20-years additional sentence.
According to the results of the second criminal procedure, Mr Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev were accused of laundering of RUR 450 billion and $7.5 mln ifrom 1998 to 2004, Khodorkovsky's lawyer Yuri Schmidt said.
It should be noted that such a severe punishment of financial fraud will be applied in Russia for the first time.
We remind that Khodorkovsky and Platonov were sentenced to 8 years in prison in May 2005, being behind bars since October 2003.
