A Romanian woman has appeared in court in Aberdeen after a call to a North Sea oil platform alleging a bomb hoax.
Dana Rosu, 23, appeared at the brief hearing in relation to a charge of breach of the peace.
She made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody to hospital for assessment.
She was detained after an incident led to the evacuation of 161 oil workers from the Safe Scandinavia floating hotel, 130 miles north-east of Aberdeen.
Four hours later the evacuation was called off and workers were returned to the "flotel", meanwhile, oil production was stopped.
Rosu's friends and former employers say that she was never in trouble before and she was the last person they would expect to be involved.
