The Russian gas giant Gazprom yesterday renewed threats to cut gas supplies to Ukraine, saying it would reduce supplies on Monday if Kiev did not sign off on documents mapping out new accords on gas sales.
The countries' leaders just two weeks ago announced a last-minute deal that looked to avoid cutbacks.
But Gazprom yesterday renewed its threat because the Ukrainian national energy company has yet to sign a batch of agreements underpinning the accord.
