Oil giant Shell have announced that the firm has reopened its gas import terminal at Bacton after last week's fire.
"It will gradually build up to normal throughput levels," Shell's spokesman said.
The fire broke out on the Norfolk site on February 28th, prompting the firm to close the plant.
Shell claimed that there were no injuries or any real threat to the local area, while the reception facilities for the BBL line from the Netherlands and the Inter-connector from Belgium were not affected.
