Gazprom Neft to Invest in Associated Gas

Gazprom's oil producing arm Gazprom Neft plans to invest 17-20 bln rubles from 2008-2011 in order to collect 95 pct of the associated gas released during crude oil extraction operations, Nikolai Yeliseyev, director of the company's gas and gas processing department told Interfax.

He added that his company expects it will take ten years to recoup the investment, Thomson Financial reported.
