BP Grants Technip Construction Services Contract

BP has awarded Technip a frame agreement to provide all diving construction services for extensions to existing hydrocarbon field development projects in the North Sea. Under the terms of this contract, Technip will be the exclusive provider of these services for the next two years, with two additional 12 month options available to BP.

Technip's operating center in Aberdeen, Scotland will execute these services, which could include project management, engineering, provision of diving support, trenching support and umbilical installation vessels, installation of subsea structures, and installation of deepwater risers for West of Shetland developments.
