Conocophilips Shuts Its Refineries Ahead of Gustav

US oil major ConocoPhilips shut its 247,000 barrel per day refinery in Alliance, Louisiana, ahead of approaching Hurricane Gustav, the company said.

Another Conoco's Louisiana refinery in Lake Charles continues to shut down.
