According to Transneft's press office, the parties discussed oil supplies via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and the principles for its expansion, as well as the construction of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline and the second stretch of the Baltic Pipeline System (BTS-2).
Meanwhile, Beyrly expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between Transneft and Chevron in the expansion of the CPC and the construction of the ESPO.
He assured that the 'new team' behind the U.S. president believed that Russia and the United States must resume dialog on countering terrorism, controlling arms proliferation, energy efficiency, and other pressing matters.
