Indraprastha Gas Ltd. has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10. This quarter has been successful for the company. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 51.48 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010. This net profit figure has grown up by 27.71% as compared to the same quarter in the preceding year.
So far as the total income of the firm is concerned, it has touched Rs 289.76 crore during the January-March period of fiscal year 2009-10. It was Rs 228.45 crore for the same quarter last year. This has been informed by Indraprastha Gas Ltd. in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange. The annual net profit of the company was reported to be of Rs 215.49 crore for the year under review. It was 25% up from the last year's figures.
The board has decided to recommend a dividend of Rs 4.50 per share i. e. 45% to its investors for the financial year 2009-10 subject to the approval of the share holders.
