GM&T Retail, a subsidiary of the world’s largest gas producer, unveils its new brand name and launches its new brand identity.

Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Limited (GM&T Retail), one of the UK’s fastest growing energy suppliers , is delighted to announce that it has successfully completed its brand review today as it unveils the company’s new brand name - Gazprom Energy. The new brand name, as well as a new corporate website, going live today, and other elements of corporate visual identity symbolise the company’s tremendous growth and success over the last five years as it looks forward to strengthening its partnerships with existing clients and further expansion of its services, products and geographic footprint.

The new identity is the result of successful collaboration between the company, Mark Studio - a Manchester based design studio - and Bloom Media - a Leeds based web design company - to develop the new brand identity and other components of Gazprom Energy’s brand identity and website. Both agencies were appointed in May 2011.

Jon Feingold, the Managing Director of Gazprom Energy, said: “The new brand identity reflects the company’s commitment to further development and expansion of its successful energy supply business in partnership with our customers, and highlights our product innovation and excellence in customer service. The launch of the new brand name, brand identity and redesigned website are a direct result of the continued growth the company has experienced in the last 5 years and its goal to broaden its reach and appeal to a wider customer base and, over time, expand into new geographies.”

Yvonne Henderson, the Marketing Executive at Gazprom Energy, commented: “Now that we’ve grown by over 500% over the past five years to over 36,000 commercial sites in the UK, France and Ireland, we wanted the new brand to reflect our evolved set of values and further build on our brand promise of customer service excellence, innovative energy solutions and the confidence that comes from being part of the Gazprom Group. We were looking to grow our brand and strengthen rapport with our current and future clients. We value the contribution of our partners – Mark Studio and Bloom Media – and truly believe that the new brand name reflects our business growth and aspirations for the future.”

The new website, www.gazprom-energy.com, launched today, aims to provide Gazprom Energy’s current and future customers with a constantly improving user experience through improved usability and functionality to include social media links, which will be further enhanced over the upcoming months. A French version of the site will also be launched in September.​
