Gazprom Neft is buying a filling station network comprising of 36 stations and two petroleum storage depots in the Chelyabinsk Region under the Chelneft brand. The filling stations are located in Chelyabinsk and other towns of the region: Troitsk, Emanzhelinsk and Trekhgorny. The new assets will be included into the retail network operated by the Gazpromneft-Chelyabinsk distribution subsidiary. Purchasing the Chelneftfilling stations Gazprom Neft increases its distribution network in the South Urals up to 78stations.
The purchased filling stations will be rebranded with the Gazpromneftcorporate stylewithin three years.
“Extension of the Company’s filling station network in the Chelyabinsk Region shall help to strengthen Gazprom Neft’s position on the retail market of the South Urals,” says Anatoly Cherner, Gazprom Neft Deputy CEO for logistics, processing and sales.
