TATNEFT participated in the XV-th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes - 2012". TATNEFT was conferred the highest award of the contest: Grand Prix "Golden" Archimedes" for the set of inventive developments presented.
The developments and inventions of the Company received two gold medals, seven silver and eight bronze ones. Following the international jury decision TATNEFT was awarded the Cup and Diploma "For a high level of inventive activities in the Republic of Tatarstan." For the set of inventive developments OAO TATNEFT was also awarded the Cup and Diploma of the Croatian Union of Inventors.
Gold medals of the International Contest were awarded for the invention: "The way of anodic earthing" of NGDU "Almetyevneft"; "Oil production technology for low-permeability intervals using polymer compositions" of TatNIPIneft.
Silver medals were awarded to four inventive developments of TatNIPIneft "Program " "Delta-Plan planning and performance analysis software package", "Steel patch expanding swage", "Expandable profile liner for isolation of trouble zones while drilling" and " Pumping system for water-producing oil wells".
Silver medals were also received by the Engineering Center of OAO TATNEFT for the inventive development "Waste water purification by a separation method"; NGDU "Nurlatneft" for "Method of developing massive type oil deposits". The silver medal was also awarded to "TatNIIneftemash" for the development work "Submersible double-rotor multi-phase pumping unit".
Bronze medals were awarded to two development works of NGDU "Aznakaevskneft": "Way to prevent behind-the-casing flow from unperforated casing layer to the perforated interval" and "Method of well construction at the multilayered oil field"; and the two development works of NGDU "Elkhovneft": "Method of developing a paleochannel oil deposit" and "Well surveying method"; two development works of NGDU "Leninogorskneft": "Method of combustion source growth in the oil reservoir" and "Oil deposit development method"; the patent "Method of a steel tank anode earthing" of NGDU "Almetyevneft", as well as the development work "Technology of limiting water inflow to the production wells through application of synthetic resin based compositions)" of TatNIPIneft.
The development works presented in the Company's exposition were highly appraised by the international jury of the Salon and numerous exhibition visitors. TATNEFT was awarded a Diploma of reverence and gratitude for the active participation in organizing and holding of the Salon.

Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" is the largest and most prominent exhibition of innovations in Russia, which allows demonstrating real achievements in the field of invention and rationalization. Every year it is attended by domestic producers of innovative products, as well as representatives of national communities of inventors and of the far abroad and CIS countries.
This year the Salon "Archimedes-2012" was attended by representatives from 46 Russian regions and 18 industrially developed countries in Europe, Asia and America. 1057 inventions, industrial designs and utility models were demonstrated at the exhibition.
The Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" is arranged with the support of the Russian Federation President's Administration, Moscow Government and the World Intellectual Property Organization. The organizer of the Salon is VOIR Centre for promotion of invention and rationalization. TATNEFT has been participating in the "Archimedes" Salon since 2001, and many of its developments have been highly recognized every year.
