An annual conference of inventors and innovators, where the innovative activities for 2011 were summed up, was held at OAO TATNEFT.
Welcoming the participants of the forum Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Operations - Chief Engineer of OAO TATNEFT, said that TATNEFT had made a huge step forward over the past 10 years: MTBF had been doubled and hundreds of new technologies and technical solutions had been introduced. By economic indicators TATNEFT competes successfully with young West Siberian oil companies. A great contribution to the successful operation of the Joint Stock Company is made by inventors and innovators.
In 2011 OAO TATNEFT for the ninth consecutive time was awarded the honorary title "Best Enterprise in Invention and Rationalization" with presentation of the Big Cup and Diploma of the Republican Society of Inventors and Innovators for high performance in the innovative activities.
OAO TATNEFT introduced in the production 11,125 inventions, utility models and rationalization proposals in 2011 and received 213 patents for inventions and utility models.
Six specialists of the company were named the laureates and twelve persons were awarded the title "Professional Engineer of Russia" as a result of the XII-th All-Russia contest "Engineer of the Year"."
Innovative development works of the Company received 2 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals at the XV-th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies "Archimedes-2012". TATNEFT was awarded the highest award of the contest - Grand Prix "Golden Archimedes" for the set of development works presented at the contest. TATNEFT was awarded a Cup and a diploma "For high level of inventiveness in the RT" by the decision of the international jury.
A group of authors of OAO TATNEFT was awarded the title of the State Prize laureates of the Republic of Tatarstan in science and technology and was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan for the work "Restructuring of OAO Tatneft: methodology and practice".
11 projects of TATNEFT's production group were recognized winners of the VII-th Republican Contest "Top 50 innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan". Five development works of the Company were awarded diplomas of the Republican contest "Best Invention of the Year". 10 representatives of TATNEFT were named winners and laureates of the contest "Young Innovator and Inventor of the RT".
By the year results NGDU "Almetyevneft" took the first place, NGDU "Elkhovneft" was the second and NGDU "Aznakaevskneft" was the third in the invention and innovation activities. In the second sub-group the best results were achieved by TatNIPIneft, second place went to "UPTZH dlya PPD" and the third place was awarded to "Tatneftegazpererabotka" Administration.
These awards strengthen the image of TATNEFT as a modern and high-tech Company; testify to its high intellectual potential and competitiveness of its innovative developments.
Future challenges that the Joint Stock Company is facing were also identified during the conference. Inter alia, they include development of hard-to-recover oil reserves, development of bitumen deposits, reduction of crude oil production costs and the other tasks.
