"Tatneftegazpererabotka" Administration of OAO TATNEFT (UTNGP), established on June 1, 2002 based on three core enterprises ("Tatneftegaz" Administration, OAO "Minnibaevo Gas Processing Plant" and OAO "Transuglevodorod") just turned 10.

UTNGP was created to improve the production efficiency through formation of a single technological complex for collection and processing of associated petroleum gas (APG) and a broad fraction of light hydrocarbons (NGL).

The richest history of the three unique enterprises in the region continues in the business of "Tatneftegazpererabotka" administration, whose structure is a single technological complex for collection, treatment, storage and processing of associated petroleum gas, a broad fraction of light hydrocarbons and shipment of the refined products.

Today, "Tatneftegazpererabotka" is a powerful, efficiently operating production complex, which products are in great demand in the domestic market and abroad.

"Tatneftegazpererabotka" Administration of OAO TATNEFT (UTNGP) collected 790.4 million m3 of petroleum associated gas in 2011, which was 20.4 million cubic meters more than in 2010. The utilization coefficient of associated petroleum gas for the Company amounted to 94.9 percent.

The volume of petroleum gas processed by UTNGP amounted to 715 mln m3 in 2011 and that was 22.3 mln m3 more than the volume of gas processing in 2010. The volume of natural gas liquids processing at the integrated crude oil treatment installations of the gas processing plant remains at the same level amounting to 285,700 tons in 2011.

The volume of sour gas processing increased largely in 2011. The amount of 111.2 mln m3 of sour gas was delivered for treatment in 2011, which was 5.8 mln m3 more than in 2010. All the finished products yielded by the UTNGP met the standards' requirements.

In 2011, "Tatneftegazpererabotka" Administration continued work on improving the technological process flow, efficiency and safe operation. 3 gas pipelines with a total length of 58.6 km were built and 53 associated petroleum gas metering units were mounted under the program of associated petroleum gas utilization.

The works were continued on stripping hydrogen sulfide from crude oil at the facilities of "Almetyevneft", "Yamashneft", "Leninogorskneft", "Jalilneft", "Elkhovneft" Oil and Gas Production Boards.

The reconstruction was completed at the Bavlinsky desulfurization installation (BUSO), which allowed increasing the capacity of the installation in terms of removing sulfur dioxide from 44 million m3 to 60 million cubic meters per year. The works were continued at the BUSO's facility with the purpose of full sour gas utilization to produce elemental sulfur.

The unit of sulfur flaking was rehabilitated and put into operation and packing of the sulfur in special soft containers for bulk products for shipment was arranged at the Minnibayevo sulfur removal facility. Two outdated turbo-compressors were replaced with for modern "Aerocom" compressors under the program of reconstruction. The works continue on the construction of a new acid gas utilization unit to produce elemental sulfur in the amount of up to 10.0 thousand tons per year.
