The "Lenexpo" exhibition complex traditionally made the site grounds for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
This year SPIEF was held under the slogan "Effective Leadership". Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of OAO TATNEFT and professionals of the Company actively participated in the event inauguration. Vladimir Putin, Russian Federation President, spoke at the plenary meeting of SPIEF 2012 outlining prospects of the country development.
In the course of the Forum representatives of the Company took part "round tables" and business dialogues.
The discussion platform established here allowed the participants to get the relevant first hand information, participate in the global economy discussions, including the growing role of emerging economies in forming regional and global agenda.
The annually held International Economic Forum promotes development of partnership between business, political and intellectual leaders of the world community and resolution global problems of the world economic development, as well as a serious and comprehensive dialogue between business and governmental authorities.
