Weatherford was rewarded with Salym Petroleum Development (SPD) prize for its safe and efficient operations’ performance during cooperation time between companies.
An award – a Cup of Honor – was presented within SPD forum on Health, Safety and Environment focused on issues of safety, opportunities for improvement and changing the safety culture, the contractors’ self-management in HSE, as well as joint activities to achieve zero injury rates.
Weatherford turned out to be one of two companies to have provided various services to Salym Petroleum Development for eight years without any injury or lost time incidents.
Anar Adilov, QHSSE Director for Weatherford Russia, said: «Of course, eight years of safe operation without injuries is really a very long period of time and a significant achievement, which was made possible thanks to all of our employees and their ongoing commitment to safety while performing any operation on various sites».
