Crude Oil Production
The amount of 2,219,716 tons of crude oil was produced at JSC TATNEFT in August accounting for 100.7 percent versus August, 2012 (+15,674 tons). The amount of 17,369,545 tons of crude oil was produced during eight months, which was 49,238 tons more than during eight months of 2012 (100.3 percent) with the above-the-plan production in the amount of 458,515 tons (102.7 percent). The amount of 17,074,083 tons of oil was delivered with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 487,863 tons.
New Drilling
The new drilling penetration for eight months of 2013 amounted to 382 thousand meters (435.6 thousand meters during eight months of 2012). Of this amount 301.2 thousand meters (325,3 thousand meters during eight months of 2012) were penetrated for JSC TATNEFT, including production drilling in the amount of 294.1 thousand meters and exploratory drilling amounting to 7.1 thousand meters.
23.8 thousand meters (37.2 thousand meters during eight months of 2012) were penetrated for the subsidiaries of JSC TATNEFT, including production drilling in the amount of 16.5 thousand meters and exploratory drilling in the amount of 7.3 thousand meters.
251 wells (259 wells during eight months of 2012) were constructed and delivered to the customers with 187 wells (186 wells during eight months of 2012) delivered to JSC TATNEFT, including 184 wells of production drilling and 3 wells of exploratory drilling.
19 wells were delivered to the subsidiaries of JSC TATNEFT (18 wells during eight months of 2012), including 13 wells of production drilling and 6 wells of exploratory drilling.
Active Well Stock Drilling
The penetration of sidetracking and horizontal wellbores during 8 months of 2013 amounted to 38.2 thousand meters (36.8 thousand meters during eight months of 2012). 18.8 thousand meters (18.9 thousand meters during eight months of 2012) were drilled for JSC TATNEFT.
75 wells (62 wells during eight months of 2012) were delivered to the customers. Of this amount 51 wells (39 wells during eight months of 2012) were delivered to JSC TATNEFT.
35 drilling crews on the average have been performing well drilling operations since the beginning of 2013; 13 drilling crews are engaged in drilling lateral and lateral horizontal wellbores. One drilling crew performs drilling to the bituminous deposits of Ashalchinskoye field for NGDU “Nurlatneft”.
The penetration per crew in new drilling amounted to 10,751 m during eight months of 2013, while during eight months of 2012 the penetration per crew amounted to 11,369 m. 36.2 thousand meters were penetrated outside the Republic of Tatarstan.
Repair of Wells
In August 2013 remedial servicing operations were performed in 750 wells (723 wells in August of 2012) with a number of wells serviced during eight months amounting to 5,563 wells (5,574 wells during eight months of 2012).
63 wells were repaired outside the Republic of Tatarstan, including 60 wells for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”, 2 wells for OOO “Tatneft-Severny” and 1 well for JSC “Ilekneft” (37 wells were repaired during eight months of 2012 with 36 wells repaired for OOO "Tatneft-Samara” and 1 well for JSC “Ilekneft”).
The workover operations were performed in 1,730 wells during eight months of the current year (1730 well workovers were performed over eight months of the current year (236 workovers in August, 1607 workovers for eight months 2012), including production string sealing performed in 186 wells, shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals were performed in 122 wells, transfer of wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 133 wells, liquidation of downhole complications and cleaning of production casing and bottomhole in 98 wells, installation of isolating packers and dual completion systems in 116 wells, physical liquidation in 19 wells and re-liquidation in 9 wells.
430 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (53 wells in August), including 73 wells worked over through the annulus.
Formation hydrofracking operations were performed in 407 wells (57 wells in August) (265 wells during eight months of 2012). The cumulative incremental crude oil production amounted to 6 million 992 thousand tons.
Two workover crews drilled and completed 19 small diameter wells for JSC TATNEFT during eight months of 2013. Currently drilling of well No. 20031b is underway at NGDU "Aznakaevskneft".
Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed in 1,663 wells (244 wells in August) with application of chemical methods in 803 wells (119 wells in August). The incremental crude oil production resulting from application of crude oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 3 million 997 thousand tons with application of chemical methods accounting for 1 million 629 thousand tons.
Bottomhole area treatment operations with application of JSC TATNEFT’s technologies were performed in 2,268 wells during eight months of 2013.
Production Performance of the JSC TANECO
The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 731.9 thousand tons of crude oil and yielded 726.8 thousand tons of oil products in August, 2013.
