The daily production at Ashalchinskoye extra-viscous oil field of TATNEFT has reached a level of 500 tons.
The target of commercial extra-viscous oil (EVO) field development at the Company is the Sheshminsky horizon of the Ufa Stage. Development of Ashalchinskoye EVO field has been carried out by "Nurlatneft" Oil and Gas Production Board of JSC TATNEFT since 2006.
A set of measures including increasing utility capacities for gas, water, electricity and heat supply, production and treatment of extra-viscous oil has been elaborated and implemented to perform the tasks assigned.
The oilmen of NGDU "Nurlatneft" have already produced 264 thousand tons of EVO since the beginning of the field development.
The oilmen apply the steam assisted gravity drainage stimulation through paired horizontal wells for the field development here. The millionth ton of steam will be injected to the productive interval since the beginning of the field development on the eve of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day.
