The XIV-th report and election conference of the young employees of JSC TATNEFT was held in the Grand Hall of the "Neftche" Palace of Culture in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan), which brought together more than 700 delegates from the structural divisions, subsidiaries and management companies of JSC TATNEFT.
There are more than 29,500 young persons employed at the TATNEFT Group of companies today, including 1,770 persons, who are managers and 6,200 persons occupy the positions of engineers, professionals and employees.
Effective tools in the professional development of the Company's young workers are the Councils of young professionals and the Schools of Production Management, where the Company's leading specialists share their knowledge and experience with the young people.
The most important incentives for productive and creative activities of the young workers are annual open youth scientific and practical conferences. This year the youth scientific and practical conference, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Tatarstan oil fields development was held at the premises of NGDU "Almetyevneft" and according to the members of the expert committee it was arranged at a high level.
15 workshops and seminars on industrial activities involving more than 900 young professionals from the TATNEFT Group enterprises and AGNI students were organized in 2013. These scientific and practical forums serve as a platform for self-development and self-realization of young professionals.
The number of innovative proposals submitted by the young people is growing. 9,481 proposals have been submitted in the current year versus 8,447proposals submitted the year earlier. The expected economic effect of their implementation amounts to 757 million rubles.
The systematic work aimed at improving the youth involvement in innovative activities resulted in annual victories at the Republican contests. For example, the young professionals of the Company took 12 prizes for innovative activities and the first place in the invention category of the "Young Innovator and Inventor of the Republic of Tatarstan" contest in 2013. The leaders include "Almetyevneft", "Jalilneft" and "Yamashneft" NGDUs, "Tatneftegazpererabotka" Administration, Engineering Center and JSC "Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod".
Innovative online resources of the Company are being actively developed. A center of competence and "business ideas auction" have been successfully implemented this year, which together with the Electronic Corporate University form a powerful educational tool, as well as a platform for the exchange of experiences.
A new element of the youth organization activities are educational seminars of the youth committees’ chairmen. Arrangement of such seminars on a quarterly basis enables the youth leaders to share organizational experience and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
The success of the Company’s youth policy is proved by the victories of the TATNET’s enterprises at the Republican level. For example, this year, the youth organizations of "TANECO" and OOO "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company took the second and the first places, respectively, at the Republican contest "Best Youth Organization of enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan".
Nail Maganov, General Director of JSC TATNEFT, addressed the delegates of the youth report and election conference. He mentioned in his the significant contribution of the young people into the Company's accomplishments, innovative development and strengthening of business positions the Joint Stock Company.
General Director of JSC TATNEFT outlined the strategic challenges facing the Company, including further stabilization of crude oil production and creation of its own refining capacity. He also outlined as one of the production the development of bitumen deposits, starting up and increasing the processing capacity of "TANECO" and tire manufacturing complex, expanding and improving the service quality of the filling stations network, as well as a number of other areas.
Nail Maganov emphasized consistent course of the personnel policy of TATNEFT, including the creation of necessary conditions for professional development, career development, as well as research and creative development of young workers.
