"Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company hosted a conference of the labor collective in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan), which summarized the activities results and fulfillment of the Collective Agreement terms for 2013 and outlined the tasks for the current year.


The annual event was attended by Zagit Sharafeev, Deputy General Director of JSC TATNEFT for Petrochemical Production - Director of OOO "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company, Gumar Yarullin, Chairman of the Trade Union of JSC TATNEFT and A. Metshin, Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District.


The enterprises of the TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex produced 12.5 million tires, 108.9 thousand tons of carbon black, 414 sets of molds and 520 thousand tons of castings in 2013.


The project aimed at increasing the production capacity of KAMA EURO and Viatti works to 1.3 million tires per year was completed at JSC "Nizhnekamskshina". The electric actuator of rubber mixing line MX 7 was reconstructed at the Nizhnekamsk truck tire factory. Implementation of the investment program for modernization of JSC "Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod" was continued. The project on providing the TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex enterprises with own domestic potable water was completed.


The experts of OOO "Kama" Scientific and Technical Center" developed 97 projects of new tire sizes. 30 tires types were commercialized. The plans schedule for putting on production of 78 tire types in 2014.
An audit carried out by an independent certification body "URS" held in October 2013 confirmed successful implementation of the Corporate Quality Management System in the Petrochemical Complex of JSC TATNEFT in accordance with the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 international standard. The audits performed by Continental, JSC "UAZ" and Volkswagen Companies passed without any formidable comments.
The tire manufacturing factories received an "Excellent Supplier" rating from major tire consumers (JSC "AvtoVAZ", JSC "KAMAZ", OOO "PAZ" and JSC "AZ "Ural ").


One of the JSC TATNEFT's priorities in the tire business is environmental responsibility, environmental protection and rational environmental management. The total funds spent for implementing measures for environmental protection amounted to 450.6 million rubles in 2013. The work efficiency in the field of environmental safety of the production was confirmed by the inspection results of environmental audits performed at all three tire factories (JSC "Nizhnekamskshina", OOO "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory", OOO "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory"). JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" and OOO "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory" were awarded the laureate title of the "100 Best Companies of Russia. Ecology and Environmental Management." Contest in the reporting year.


The social policy of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex enterprises was carried out in several areas, which included ensuring decent working and recreation conditions, disease prevention and medical treatment of the employees, provision of housing. The administration and the Trade Union committee performed effective joint activities in the area of labor protection, as well as cultural and sports activities during the year. The programs of the voluntary health insurance and non-governmental pension coverage of employees were implemented to the fullest extent.


The workforce conference adopted a resolution according to the event results. All commitments formalized by Collective agreements of the petrochemical complex enterprises were fulfilled to the full extent. The collective bargaining agreement of the enterprises for 2014 retained all social benefits and guarantees of the Collective agreements in 2013. The following changes and additions were introduced: the tariff rates (salaries) of the enterprises' workers have increased by 10 percent on a case by case basis since January 1 of the current year versus the annual average of 2013, while the ones of top managers, specialists and employees will be increased from April 1, 2014. The amount of funding for voluntary health insurance services in 2014 has been increased for the purpose of improving the workers' health.


The amount of welfare assistance payments provided by the Collective Bargaining Agreement and others has also been increased
Main tasks for 2014 were outlined at the meeting. They include implementation of a process approach to management, tools of "Lean Manufacturing", application of the Company's innovative educational tools, starting serial production of new tire types, expanding the range of carbon black production through adding new grades. The plans provide for the transfer of truck tires production from JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" to JSC "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory", as well as increasing the capacity of preparatory and vulcanizing shops and further extension of rationalization and inventive activities.


As part of the investment program the plans provide for carrying out pre-design preparation at the Petrochemical Complex enterprises to introduce an automated accounting and energy management system, acquiring and installing a six-position stand for tire testing at OOO "STC "Kama", concluding a contract for supply of a new line for cutting and joining of steel cord, dynamic unbalance machine and painting line.
