There was a lean production conference held at JSC TATNEFT on the subject "Effective processes: high performance" with the participation of business leaders, representatives of departments of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, winners and participants of the International Contest for lean production, leading experts in the field of lean production and industrial systems' development.
Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Production - Chief Engineer of the Company, welcomed the participants of the training Conference on behalf of Nail Maganov, General Director of TATNEFT Company.
He pointed out in his address that the increase in the labor productivity and efficient use of resources are the main conditions for effective operation and competitiveness of any company. The practice shows that its basic principles and methods do not depend on industry specifics.
The work on the implementation of lean production at TATNEFT is carried out under the direct supervision of the General Director and is aimed at creation of the Company's organizational culture: a culture of continuous improvement.
The "Program of the lean production implementation in 2014" carried out at the Joint Stock Company aims at creating a permanent mechanism for improvement and development of the production. The results obtained will form a basis for establishment of basic standards for the purpose of their further distribution to all the enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies.
The conference became a platform for discussing the experience of implementing the principles and techniques of lean production at domestic enterprises. The participants discussed the role of leaders in the implementation of Lean projects, the issues of the lean production influence on the production systems' efficiency, labor productivity and specifics of introducing lean-based new products, etc. The awarding procedure of the winners of the International Lean Production Contest took place in the frame of the conference.
