The 10th Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Arts Festival opened today in Kunming, People's Republic of China.
“The 10th anniversary Arts Festival is a clear example of the successful cooperation between Gazprom and CNPC, as well as proof of the mutually deep interest between our cultures. Over the past years some 100 ensembles from Russia and China have taken part in the Festival. The event has united over 500 performers, becoming a wonderful tradition,” said Alexander Bespalov, Head of the Gazprom Department.
“CNPC and Gazprom continue to develop their fruitful interaction. Among other things, the companies implement remarkable social projects, which further strengthen the Russian-Chinese intercultural dialogue. This Festival is a great initiative that gives us a chance not only to enjoy the arts, but also to better understand each other,” said Wang Tiejun, Assistant President of CNPC.
