In May 2018, CPC-R loaded 5,290,422 gross tons (41,886,319 barrels) of crude oil at the CPC-R Marine Terminal,  which is 418,330 tons (7%) more year-on-year.

In May 2018, CPC-R loaded 5,290,422 gross tons (41,886,319 barrels) of crude oil at the CPC-R Marine Terminal, which is 418,330 tons (7%) more year-on-year.

CPC reported this on June 4, 2018.

Out of the 5,290,422 tons lifted 2,516,239 tons of crude oil were from Tengiz, 820,649 tons - from Karachaganak, 1,328,910 tons - from Kashagan and slightly over 624,000 tons - from other producers.

In May, Russian Shippers exported 492,854 gross tons of crude through CPC-R pipeline system.

Total of 228 tankers were loaded since the beginning of the year through May 31, 2018, 228 with 45 tankers loaded in May.

As a reminder, in March 2018, the CPC Marine Terminal hit the record monthly loading.

Crude oil shipment volume reached 5,506,294 tons (43,609,021 barrels), which is almost 6% higher than the previous record of December 2017 when the monthly loading at the CPC Marine Terminal was 5,196,229 tons.

From 2001 through May 31, 2018 total of 546,860,985 tons of crude oil were delivered to the world markets by Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system, including 475,509,144 tons from Kazakhstani Shippers and 71,351,841 tons of oil, produced in Russia.

About 75% of all crude oil resources exported from Kazakhstan is transported by the CPC pipeline system.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS.

Length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region.

CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
