Ekaterinburg, June 22 - Neftegaz.RU. A Gazprom delegation headed by Alexey Miller, CEO of the company, on June 21 paid a visit to the Seversky Pipe Plant (SPP) in the Sverdlovsk Region.
The Plant, which is owned by TMK, manufactures a wide range of pipe products for the oil and gas sector and other industries. SPP-produced casings for gas wells and pipes for field pre-development and gas pipeline construction are utilized at Gazprom’s facilities.
Alexey Miller was given an overview of the Plant’s production capacities and the product lines of TMK, including those intended for offshore operations.
In the course of the visit, Alexey Miller and Dmitry Pumpyansky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TMK, discussed current issues of cooperation between the companies. It was noted that the parties planned to continue their mutually beneficial collaboration to expand the range of pipe products and improve their quality characteristics.
In October 2016, Gazprom signed the updated scientific and technical cooperation programs until 2020 with Russia's leading pipe producers, including TMK.
