A natural gas leak Wednesday forced the evaucation of at least three homes in Orange County, according to WKMG News.
The leak was located in the back yard a home in the Pepper Mill subdivision. The Orlando HAZMAT team clamped the broken line around 1 p.m., according to officials. Workers were apparently repairing a fence behind the home and accidentally hit the half-inch gas line, causing the leak.
Orlando HAZMAT had to respond because Orange County HAZMAT was working an anthrax scare, according to WKMG News.
Residents returned to their homes shortly after 1 p.m.
