Police in the Pakistani city of Karachi say at least 16 people were killed and many more injured when a passenger bus collided with an oil tanker some 50 km east of the city.
The authorities say the bus was coming from Larkana district in Sindh province with about 50 passengers on board when it ploughed into the rear of the tanker.
Many of the injured are reported to be in a serious condition.
