Following statements by Head of the Guardian Council (GC) in Isfahan on Friday regarding 'swindling and
transferring of funds abroad by some oil empires,' the Oil Ministry,
in a bulletin Sunday asked him to publish all the names of the
alleged culprits.
It also said Ayatollah Jannati should immediately send the
revelations to the president, the Oil Ministry and other organs.
The bulletin added that the ministry wants the names of the
account holders, place of deposit and other relevant materials
revealed.
The bulletin said the ministry stresses the necessity for
transparent information and expects individuals to refrain from
leveling accusations without sufficient evidence. Otherwise, such
accusations will lead to slow-down in the development of indigenous
oil industry, it added.
Undoubtedly, the Oil Ministry is determined to follow up the
issue to the end, until a resolution comes about, the bulletin
noted.
