Gas Leak In Regency Area Leads To Evacuation

Some workers in the Regency Square were evacuated Thursday because of a gas leak.
Police tell Eyewitness News that the leak started in the garden center of a Lowe's home improvement store.

Crews from the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue department say that the source of the leak was an underground propane tank.

As a precaution, police say that they evacuated a nearby restaurant.

Officials say that the leak was under control within minutes
