Filipinos worry about relatives in New York

Several hundred Filipino parents whose children work, study and live in the U.S. spent the night worried about the safety of their loved ones in New York.

Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo expressed her shock at the attacks.

"I have asked our security authorities to immediately secure all U.S. facilities in the Philippines. We are sparing no effort in protecting all U.S. nationals within our jurisdiction," said Arroyo.
