Moscow, March 22 - Neftegaz.RU. LUKOIL has won the award as the best national exporter within the framework of Russian Automotive Forum, which took place in Moscow.
The professional automotive community recognized the company's success as a supplier of automotive lubes to foreign markets. Today, LUKOIL delivers automotive lubes to more than 40 countries worldwide.
Over the last year, the Russian producer has set up wide dealer networks in Mexico and China, and also established a subsidiary in Morocco to run corporate operations in Africa. Meanwhile, Lukoil has retained its firm standing in the EU market, being one of the 5 European lubes suppliers to German car factories.
«Being recognized by the professional automotive community is very important for us. We are not the only ones who are due credit for this award, so are our partners, international automakers. The Company has decided to enter new markets via opening expansion-oriented subsidiaries in Latin America, Africa and Asia Pacific. Our strategy in these regions includes 1st fill deliveries of lubricants to car manufacturing plants. We have been moving steadily from local deliveries of lubricants to international car producers operating in Russia toward development of global cooperation projects,» noted Lukoil VP for Petroleum Product Sales Maxim Donde.
Lukoil produces around 1 million tons of lubricants per annum at 7 own plants, 2 plants owned by joint ventures, and 25 third-party plants around the globe. The company is Russia’s largest lubricant manufacturer, accounting for about 40 % of domestically produced lubes.
