A Russian ship has been arrested in the South Korean port of Pusan. The vessel was to leave the port at 6 a.m. Moscow time. The arrest was initiated by one of the international insurance groups registered in the Bermudas. This firm accuses the Far Eastern Maritime State University, which owns the sailing ship, of not paying $60,000 in debts.
The decision to lift the arrest can be made by a municipal court after 24 hours since the arrest was made.
There are 160 crewmembers on board the ship. The majority of them are cadets of the university.
