The petroleum ministry of India has drawn up plans to introduce high-tech technologies to repair security systems at the Indian oil majors

The petroleum ministry of India has drawn up plans to introduce high-tech technologies to repair security systems at the Indian oil majors after careful investigations of the systems being used in the oil installations of the US, the UK and Denmark.
The final report has been put together by the director-general of the Central Industry Security Force (CISF) who is in charge of the overall security of public sector industrial establishments.
The petroleum ministry plans to implement the new security measures through the CISF and senior officials of public sector enterprises such as Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Indian Oil, Gail, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum.
