China National Petroleum Corp, the parent of PetroChina, plans to import 300,000 tons of diesel in January to meet fuel demand of the country.
PetroChina imported over 200,000 tons of diesel in December and 310,000 tons of oil products in the first three quarters as part of an efforts to steady the domestic fuel supply.
Sinopec, Asia's top refinery, plans to import 500,000 tons of diesel in January after imports of 423,000 tons in December and 287,000 tons in November.
