Volume of Gazprom's H1 gas exports to SEE drops 7.4% y/y


Belgrade, September 2 - Neftegaz.RU. Gazprom has decreased its natural gas exports to Southeast Europe (SEE) by 7.4% year-on-year in the 1st half of 2019, to 6.178 billion cubic metres, Serbian Seenews reported.

Moldova was the largest importer of natural gas from Gazprom among SEE countries in the review period, with imports of 1.515 billion cubic metres, down 1.6%, figures from Gazprom's interim activity report show.

Croatia came second with imports of 1.432 billion cubic metres in the 1st half of 2019, up from 1.177 billion cubic metres in the previous year.

North Macedonia marked the highest rate of increase in imports of Russian gas in the first quarter - to 120 million cubic metres, from 31 million cubic metres.
