Iran and Venezuela have agreed to form a joint shipping company to transport crude, Deputy Iranian Oil Minister Hosein Shirazi said.
"We plan to acquire several oil tanker to found a shipping company", he said according to the Iranian television channel Press TV.
Shirazi said the new company would make it possible to increase cooperation between the two countries in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Moreover, the company would export Venezuelan crude and oil products to Asia and Europe, the deputy minister said.
