Three subsidiaries of Transneft Druzhba that operate sections of the Druzhba oil trunk pipeline (OTP) and Kholmogory – Klin OTP are carrying out the works for technical upgrading and revamping of telemechanics and automation systems.
The equipment for three stop valve units of the Kuibyshev Regional Department (RD) is thus being installed within the revamping of the telemetry system of a 150-kilometre section of the Kholmogory – Klin OTP.
The Michurinsk RD has started the construction and assembly works for the technical upgrading of the telemetry system for Kuibyshev – Unecha-2 OTP and overhaul of the microprocessor-based automation system for Lubna-1 and Malinovka-1 oil pump stations. Furthermore, the centralized emergency control automation system for the Kuibyshev – Unecha-2 OTP is being upgraded in a 500-kilometre section. The Bryansk RD has started the works for technical upgrading and revamping of the telemetry systems for the Unecha – Polotsk OTP.
It is planned to revamp six line control stations (CS).
The equipment is being installed at two CSs of the telemetry system for the Kuibyshev – Unecha-2 OTP.
The works are carried out within the implementation of the Integrated Technical Upgrading, Revamping, and Overhaul Programme of the oil transportation facilities for 2016. All works are carried out as scheduled.
