The Russian LPG market is very dynamic, and its another feature is a great number of participants. The development of the exchange trade makes the market even more competitive.
Liquefied gases mean primarily petrochemical feedstock and automotive fuel for Russia. Gas fractions are essential feedstock for a wide variety of applications in the petrochemical industry, and LPG processing technologies make Russia one of the world’s leading synthetic rubber producers.
LPGs have been playing an increasingly important role in Russia’s fuel balance. For many car owners, gas has become the social fuel. However, lagging infrastructure in some regions, installation and registration issues with compressed gas equipment and even simple lack of confidence in this fuel hamper the autogas market growth.
Chem-Courier has been engaged in the LPG market research since 2012, and this year it gathers all market participants (producers, traders, operators of gas filling stations, representatives of petrochemicals and industrial plants) at International Conference “Development of Russian Regional LPG Markets” (September 3—4, Kazan).
