The 7th Moscow international exhibition oil and gas 2003 was held from 24 to 27 June in the Moscow Expocenter. It was organized by ITE Group Plc. Governmental support was provided by the Ministry of energy, the Ministry of natural resources, the Ministries of industry, science and technologies, the Ministries of economic development and trade.

In Russia, oil and gas play a dominant role in the economy. The international exhibition was therefore of great importance in order to establish and further develop cooperation with foreign countries. Participants of the event had the opportunity to demonstrate their latest achievements in the oil and gas sector. The exhibition also provided business, associations and government representatives with new impulses and thoughts to tackle the upcoming issues in the sector.


,Major companies have taken part in the exhibition, such as YUKOS, LUKOIL, TNK-BP, Rosneft, ABB Automation LLC, ALCATEL, Amec, American Petroleum Institute, EIC, Baker Hughes, CATERPILLAR S.A.R.L., CETCO - Capital Equipment and Technology Corp., CHEVRON TEXACO, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group), Cooper Cameron, Du Pont de Nemours International S.A., Hanover Company, PETROALLIANCE Services Company Ltd., SAIPEM SPA, SCHLUMBERGER, GeoQuest, Shell Exploration and Production Services (RF) B.V., Siemens. Statoil, Tyumen Oil Company, Volvo Vostok, ROXAR, PSI AG, Honeywell and many other representatives, mainly from Finland, France and the UK.

Totally there were over 500 companies from Austria, Belgium, the Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Iran, Italy, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, USA, Ukraine, France, Finland and the Czech Republic. Participants of the exhibition presented various products for the oil and gas sector like equipment and technologies for oil and gas recovery, equipment for sea extraction of hydrocarbons, geophysical and seismic equipment and services, software and computer systems, oil and gas refining, petrochemistry, manufacture of mineral oil, heating and ventilation and services for oil and gas deposits. Also present were consulting companies, publishing companies, marketing and advertising companies, as well as various associations.

Within the framework of the international exhibition, the first Russian oil and gas congress was held. There, vital topics were discussed, including tendencies and prospects of the development of the Russian oil and gas sector, the investment appeal of the Russian energy sector, key factors for the improvement of the Russian oil and gas sector, research and developments of petroleum and gas deposits, development of the Russian service industry, the Russian gas projects, transportation of petroleum and gas, as well as ecological aspects and social responsibility.


,IA Neftegaz.Ru was among the participants of the exhibition. On the forum we presented our new printed catalogues, ?Services and Scientific Developments for the oil-and-gas sector?, ?Feed and Materials for the oil and gas sector?, ?Oil, Gas and Petroleum Products? and ?Equipment and Tools for the oil and gas sector.
