Badar Humaid Al Ghafri: Yes, foreign companies are developing the petroleum sector of Oman at the moment. They are providing us with many different technologies for the drilling simulation, for example. However our company has no foreign partners.
What about Russian oil and gas companies in the Middle East ?
Badar Humaid Al Ghafri: I've never heard about any cooperation between Russian specialists and our companies.
What is the fair price for the crude oil, in our opinion?
Badar Humaid Al Ghafri: Well, for the next 5-10 years it will be between $50-60, I believe.
Does your company plan to collaborate with Russian companies?
Badar Humaid Al Ghafri: Why not? We need new technologies, especially in drilling. Drilling is a big section of the oil production and we are investing a lot of money in it. And if we have a new technology which we see is really good, if we benefit of it, why not?
