Wood Group secures multi-million dollar Saudi Aramco contract

Wood Group has secured a 5-year multi-million dollar framework agreement with Saudi Aramco to continue providing engineering and project management services to its onshore capital programmes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the company reported on January 10, 2017.

The 5-year deal with see Wood Group continue to provide engineering and project management services to Saudi Aramco's onshore capital programmes in Saudi Arabia.
The contract, the value of which is not disclosed, is effective immediately, and extends a contract 1st secured in 2010. Wood Group will support the contract from its office in Al Khobar.
The contract adds to a 2015 win from Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia's national oil and gas company, for greenfield and brownfield engineering services, procurement, and construction management support for new facilities in the Arabian Gulf.
Commenting on the latest win, Dave Stewart, chief executive of Wood Group's asset life cycle solutions business in the Eastern Hemisphere, said: «This contract renewal demonstrates Wood Group's proven technical and engineering capabilities in working with Saudi Aramco to deliver projects and modifications, automation and control, pipeline and industrial engineering over the last 5 years.
